Heathere Evans-Keenan, APR
After beginning her communications career as a reporter for the NBC affiliate in her home town of San Diego, Calif., Heathere Evans-Keenan spent the last decade providing media training and speaker coaching to a range of public, private and nonprofit organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Level 3 Communications, St. Anthony Hospitals, U.S. Department of Energy’s Environmental Technology Site, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and the Center for Child Protection and Family Support.
Prior to founding Keenan PR six years ago, Evans-Keenan served as a public affairs specialist, responsible for coaching spokespeople and developing messages for public health and safety projects for the U.S. Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, Colorado community outreach groups, and local government organizations. She also provided public relations counsel for a high-tech company targeting the healthcare industry, crisis communications counsel and media coach for a higher education institution, corporate communications for a nationwide $1.6 billion company, and served as a senior public relations counselor at a technology-focused public relations agency.
